System Performance
The System Performance dashboard helps you understand whether the system running Trisul is handling network traffic normally.
It brings together network traffic, system resource usage, packet processing, and disk activity so you can quickly spot performance conditions that may need attention.
Use it to check:
- How much network bandwidth Trisul is observing
- How much CPU and memory the system and Trisul Probe are using
- Whether packets are being dropped
- How long Trisul is taking to flush data
- How many packets the packet capture mechanism is seeing
- How much disk activity Trisul is generating
- How much disk bandwidth is being used for raw packet capture (PCAP)
The dashboard is particularly useful when you notice a performance problem and want to determine when it started and which part of the system may be involved.
