Introduction to WebTrisul
WebTrisul is the web-based interface for interacting with Trisul Network Analytics. It allows you to visualize data, perform searches, monitor traffic, export reports, and carry out various analysis tasks.
This section introduces the web interface: the page layout, dashboards and modules, charts, and common UI elements.
📄️ User Interface for User Accounts
The Trisul Web UI provides different features and navigation options based on the Product Mode configured for the deployment and the privileges assigned to the logged-in account.
📄️ Introduction to Dashboards and Modules
Dashboards and modules are the primary way Trisul presents network data in the Web UI.
📄️ Dashboards
Dashboards provide a way to organize and monitor network data by bringing related modules into a single view.
📄️ Modules
In Introduction to Dashboards and Modules, you learned what modules are and how to view them.
📄️ Chart and Chart Interactions
Trisul supports a number of intuitive chart surfaces that render the statistical data in a rich interactive way. And you can drilldown on the chart using Chart Interaction Controls and Legend Table. Many modules allow you to select a chart surface and enable you to view the data at that particular point of time.
📄️ Other UI Elements
This section contains a quick overview of the user interface elements.
📄️ Default Dashboards
Trisul ships with the default dashboards described on this page. In Trisul NSM and Trisul NetFlow Analyzer, all of them are available, except Security, which is available only in Trisul NSM.
📄️ Module Templates
Module templates are predefined layouts that help you create modules for a dashboard.
📄️ Key Dashboard
The Key Dashboard is like a hub that allows you to dive deeper into a specific Key's data and explore related analysis paths. Clicking on any key in a dashboard will take you to the Key Dashboard of that particular key.
